I chose Vogue Magazine because I like their type of aesthetic on how they create their covers to make it fresh. I chose a portrait of myself in a red knitted sweater to emulate Vogue Magazine and added titles to make it realistic. I used three different types of font styles and I don't remember the names of them, But the colors I used for them were black and white because white stood out the most to me and it fitted the theme of what I wanted it to be, that goes for the color black also. My setup for this photo is that I sat on a stool and pulled my knee to my chest while twisting my body towards the camera. I then took my photo in photoshop and used the quick selection tool around my body then refine edge and changed the background to this rusty red color that I desired.
A Strobe Light or stroboscopic lamp, commonly called a strobe, is a device used to produce regular flashes of light. I would use this type of light during a photo shoot indoors where its dark. A modeling light is to allow a photographer to visually a sense of the lighting effect the flash, when it fires, will create. I would use this if I want to have a specific type of flash lighting on the model. A softbox is nothing more than a light modifier and it diffuses the light into a pleasing soft, even light. I would use this for portraits and close ups. A reflector is a piece of glass, metal, or other material for reflecting light in a required direction. I would use this if I want extra vibrance or light on someones face. A gray card is a flat object of a neutral gray color that derives from a flat reflectance spectrum. I would use this to correct the lighting for any photo shoot.
